The LFR kill seems to be counting as Normal, as players who had previously done the encounter on the lowest raid difficulty, which unlocked this week, don't even get gold or any loot options from Normal bosses they defeat. This isn't a coincidence, as the same players then received loot from later bosses which they hadn't cleared in LFR.

You want someone who can clear (most of) the raid solo. Ie. Can I run 25 Normal and 25 Heroic in the same week? How many different attempts at a mount can I have for legacy raids? Say LFR & Normal DS (384/390 ilvl vs 397 ilvl) or even normal DS & heroic DS. LFR and Normal are completely different lockouts. I know that gear will be upgradable in the 5.1 patch with VPs, with is something I'm really looking forward to, but don't screw over the casual gamer with crappy gear in the LFRs.

Because LFR/badge gear/WQ loot isn’t and never was about experiencing anything. It was about throwing enough purple colored mindlessness at people to keep them paying. Which I still find odd as the only time WoW was growing with any amount of size was when that didn’t happen…

You may not switch between 10-player and 25-player raid size once locked to one size or the other (does not apply to Mythic, which is 20-player only). Strict instance-based lockout Progress is tied to a fixed instance ID. Does this still drop?

LFR you have to queue for the wings, but for heroic or normal you will generally be in an instance that matches the raid lead's lockout. So if you are 3/8 and start a raid group, you will have 3 bosses dead when you walk in. So for a chance at better gear, you need to run LFR until you have no more upgrades available outside of normal/HM raids.

Yes, I'm saying the game isn't set up so that you'll fail in normal/Heroic raids, if you're not running LFR every lockout as well. But now it sounds like your argument is: "If LFR isn't required for normal progression, no one should care if they share lockouts." That's very flawed. You first said we're literally forcing you to do LFR to progress.
